There are nearly 470,000 “working-age” veterans in Virginia and approximately 1,200 of them work at UVA! Military service veterans receive sophisticated training and leadership-building experiences that makes them well-prepared to take on a variety of roles and to serve as leaders in our community. This site highlights just a few of our military veteran colleagues and how the skills they gained during service to our country contribute to their service at UVA. Click on the name of each service member to read their profiles.

We extend a special thanks to the military veterans who agreed to be profiled for this web site. If you’d like to participate by having your picture and profile added to this page, please email [email protected].
